Peer Review

As said on my recursive process page, I feel the revision process really helped shine the light on the paths I chose to take for my essays personally. Giving feedback specifically really helped me understand what works for those certain sources and what doesn’t. Additionally, giving feedback broadened my perspective on the arguments being talked about in the given prompts. My peers had a lot of insight that I didn’t necessarily think about allowing me to go down different roads with my personal essays. The first work sample I’ve provided is a good depiction in my eyes of what I spoke on earlier, that being using some of my peers’ work to understand what points work and what doesn’t. The first work sample is predominantly constructive criticism. I felt at points the author of this passage didn’t correctly word and use the source they provided. Additionally I felt it needed something more to close it out hence my final suggestion. On the second work sample I’ve provided you’ll see some more positive feedback given. I felt they framed the argument of the relevant source very well at the beginning of their paragraph. They later on state their thesis in a clear and logical way while also including their own personal experience and opinion on the matter.
